This activity can improve your cognitive skills

Psychology is right in saying that our cognitive skills develop before we are adults, playing its optimistic part. However, we see many everyday incidents, ranging from the abuse of nature, people, money, to discrimination or violation of the rights of others, all caused by delusions and lack of awareness.

The Middle Path, which may cover every sincere belief, says awareness (cognition) is important and it must be developed and improved well. While some representatives of it recommend breathing, physical practice, etc., arts could well be a means to improve cognition.

Some experts in cognition tell us to pay attention to and be aware of the things around us. Many practices are specifically oriented to cognitive development by paying attention.

As paying attention is the key, the activity we mention in the heading has to do with photography. Yes, most of us are now photographers and we take the photo of everything we see. Hence, we would not have a say about photgraphy-particularly after taking the photo on this page, which is the first flower that is an harbinger of the spring here, this morning. Its timing was wrong and light was not very good. After some playing with image programs, it had its final state; the worst photo ever!

Anyway, the activity we mention is microphotography. When we go out and see little things to photograph, attention to detail will work for us and we will discover many things.

If you like photography, give it a try, you will see thousands of ecosystems promising new things.
